		<description>So, does this fit with the statement by Cook that drinkers tend to have higher earnings than abstainers and that women&#039;s earnings tend to increase with alcohol consumption? I guess that would mean that hard drinking, is correlated with drive and sociability. Working is a relational business. So a hard drinker may tend to be more social than an isolating alcoholic. Being more social she or he would make more connections and be likely to earn more than one who isolates.

The other question: How long can most hard drinkers maintain their pace before declining health sets in? Those with rugged constitutions may retire before their drinking catches up with them.</description>
